We recently noticed some promotion linking the "China (Shenzhen) Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Competition" to the Canada Confederation of Shenzhen Associations. The Confederation (hereinafter "we" or "the Confederation") would like to make the following statement on this matter:

1. Neither our chairwoman, Ms. Jenny Qi, personally, nor the Canada Confederation of Shenzhen Associations as an organization, is any longer involved in helping, supporting, or organizing the " China (Shenzhen) Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Competition " in any way.

2. Neither the Confederation nor its core members are involved in this kind of activity anymore, and we have not authorized any branch organization or individual to take part in it either.

3. Going forward, any activity carried out in Canada or North America — whether by an individual or an organization — under the name of the " China (Shenzhen) Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Competition " has no connection whatsoever to the Canada Confederation of Shenzhen Associations.

This statement is issued accordingly.
